Code Release 5/23/2012

OrderLinx Orders

  • Fixed auto-refresh setting on order list screen.
  • Added On Hands column with the option to see all other locations in the region using a promo pricing balloon
  • Added an “Available” column to the pending item add row and the grid of line items on order edit page.  This would contain the availability only for the current default supplier location for the customer logged in, not including other locations availability.
  • It is now more obvious when a save is required because totals are not refreshed.
  • Added client-side extended price updates when promo prices are not involved (already in place for promos)
  • Fixed promo price balloon not displaying when you add an item via the lookup link
  • Fixed the tab order on the pending item area of the screen
  • The Clear button on the pending item section will set add button enabled to False again
  • Added a “PO Required” preference - when you save a new order, verify that the PO field on the order edit screen has a non-empty value.
  • Added a “Vendor Note” multi-line box to preferences screen, its contents will be added to the “Vendor Note” section on any new or cloned OrderLinx orders.
  • Added a "force ship via choice" checkbox - when true, ship via should start out empty and require a value to submit (currently defaults to “Delivery”)
  • Clean up error when you click “add” and the item select dropdown has been cleared
  • Made the popup lookup screen a version of the tab without frame or navigation around it, but add the extra “select” column like the popup has currently

OrderLinx Item Lookup

  • Removed “active”, “item type” columns on item lookup grid, and add “Price” column (availability is already present in lookup screen) 
  • Line codes will now work on searches
  • Made item lookup return to the top upon search button click
  • Increase item lookup price column to allow 9,999.99 be displayed completely.  The space needed was taken away from Vendor Part Number
  • Made “Search” the default button on Item Lookup
  • Restricted Item Lookup to only find items for the available locations. 
  • Removed no selection option from the Location dropdown.  The dropdown defaults to the customer’s location
  • Every way to add an item to an order has been updated to work faster

OrderLinx Inventory

  • Changing bins forces the scroll bar to the top

OrderLinx Count sheets

  • Added line code searching to count sheets and add from usage page to be consistent with the item add and lookup pages
  • Count sheet jump to top when searched
  • Fixed the duplicate item add rule to work even if the item is not visible

ComCept .Net

  • Added new preferences tab, "OrderLinx" – these are all “company” preferences, not location-specific
  • Added “PO Required” preference - when you save a new order, verify that the PO field on the order edit screen has a non-empty value.
  • Added “Vendor Note” multi-line box to preferences screen, its contents will be added to the “Vendor Note” section on any new or cloned OrderLinx orders.

  • Updated the Preferences save message to remove a period
  • Added multiple logins per OrderLinx customer

  • Allow column resizing on all MAINTENANCE search results grids in utopia (the screens that now have 2 tabs)
  • Extranet order lines in utopia should now always appear in the order in which they were added.
  • Customer count sheet now scrolls to the top of the list every time "search" is clicked, to avoid results appearing off-screen
  • Master Inventory Maintenance – When adding a new item the default tax status value will now be Taxable.
  • Customer OL logins - made the inactive flag work properly.   
  • Customer Maintenance - Ability to remove purchase profiles.

Item Lookup New Design:  Based on feedback from many customers on the recent changes we made to Item Lookup we have completely redesigned this feature to bring back the search results page along with additional search criteria.  View Item Lookup documentation here

Maintenance Screens in Utopia:  A slight change to some Maintenance screens which now have tabs at the top to switch between the search page and the details page.  Store Locations, Employees, etc…

Advanced Reports:

  • New Report:  Admin Tab:  Return To Stock:  Ability to print a document to aid in returning items to the shelves, PO’s, Receivers, Credits, etc…. (Reverse Pick Slips)
  • New Report:  Admin Tab:  Transaction Journal Without Costs:  Same as Transaction Journal but does not include Cost or Gross Profit columns.
  • Enhance Report: Inventory Tab:   Item unit Sales and Usage:  Multiple Store Selection has been added.
  • Enhance Report:  Inventory Tab:  Item Ranking:  Multiple Store Selection has been added.

Code Release 4/4/2012

ComCept .Net has been updated with the following enhancements:

  1. Work Order Processing now indicates when orders have already been printed
  2. Item Lookup now supports Line Codes
  3. Customer Inventory, Customer Count Sheet and all related reports now honor the bin/item sort sequences used in the customer inventory

Reports Release 3/22/2012

ComCept has released the following enhancements to reports.

  1. Consignment Summary Report - Added a sales date range on the parameter screen
  2. 12 Month Customer Usage Report - Added an option to not include credits

Code Release 3/13/2012

ComCept .Net and ComCept Thin Client has been updated to add the Item Availability feature.  This feature quickly shows the available quantities of a particular item at all locations.  The Item Availability feature can be selected from the available quantity below the item grid on all ComCept .Net POS screens, action menus or Left Navigation.  Documentation is available here.

Code Release 2/5/2012

ComCept .Net has been updated with a few minor enhancements and fixes.

  • Reporting within OrderLinx now shows a small "Please Wait..." message while the report is being generated.
  • Users can now re-print PO Receipts, despite the fact that changes cannot be made after the first save. * Count Sheets, Customer Inventory and many other long lists are now more durable when performing operations on multiple records (e.g., deleting many items from a Count Sheet).

Reports Release 12/22/2011

The new Related Documents report has been released.  It prints a list of all documents related to the user specified document ID.  

The report can be found on the Admin tab.

ComCept .Net documentation has been placed in a searchable format.  Try searching the documentation when you are stuck or have a question.

 
The Post Payment Batch function now defaults the posting date to that of the last payment, instead of today's date.

Code Release 11/22/2011

ComCept .Net no longer allows you to select inactive vendors on the PO screen.  Existing POs will not be affected.

Code Release 11/14/2011

ComCept .Net has been enhanced to refresh all the tax data on your PC with the Updater.  This means you no longer have to close ComCept and re-open it to get changes to taxes.
