We have successfully completed  code release of ComCept .Net.  Changes include:

Mobile .Net

  • A link has been added to the Sales Order screen to easily display a report that shows the status of the uploaded order on the server, including backorders.  Users will see the link at the top of the Sales Order page for orders that have already been sent.
  •

    CollisionVend & CollisionScan

  • We have improved the speed and reliability of the inventory updates CollisionVend machines and CollisionScan stock rooms.  This was in direct response to reports that changes to UPC codes were not updating machine inventory.

    • Item Lookup - the default Purchasing UOM and minimum purchase quantity are now displayed

    Reports Release - 8/26/2014

ComCept has released a new report and has enhanced another report.  The new report is called Customer Supplemental Data.  It prints customer data like Tax Exemptions, Attributes, and Custom Notes.  The report can be found on the Customer tab in Advanced Reports.

The enhancement was done to the Sales By Product Group or Line Export report.  An additional cost or price field was added with an option to select which cost or price to display.

    Reports Release - 7/30/2014

ComCept Solutions has released a new report called Customer Item Usage Comparison Extended, which can be found in the customer section.  This report works like the other customer item usage reports, but doesn't limit the number of customers that can be displayed on the report.  It is NOT recommended to run it for all of your customers.

    Reports Release - 7/24/2014

ComCept Solutions has released a new report enhancement for the Commission Detail Report.  This enhancement is to prevent a salesman from running the report for other salesman.  The report will lock the current user as the Customer Assigned Salesman filter, unless the user has the new permission Report_All_Salesman.  This new permission is already assigned to the Reports_All security group for the majority of customers.  Most users will not see a difference in the report’s behavior.  Below there are three scenarios that a report user may face running the Commission Detail Report.

    1. The user has the new permission and is either marked a salesman or not – The user will be able to run the report for any salesman they choose.
    2. The user is marked as a salesman and doesn’t have the new permission – The report can only be run for the user logged into ComCept.
    3. The user is NOT marked as a salesman and doesn’t have the new permission – The report will have “No permission to run report” in the Customer Assigned Salesman filter and the report will always return no results.

    Report Release - 5/15/2014

ComCept has release four report enhancements.

    • CollisionVend Usage report - We have added the ability to filter bad vends, changed a few labels to better match user terminology and changed the grouping.
    • Transaction Statistics report - We added a ship via grouping option
    • Transaction report and PO/RGPO/TO/Pick Slip report - fixed most instances of a crystal reporting bug

The changes made to the CollisionVend Usage report and earlier changes to the Sales By Product Group or Line report has made two other reports obsolete and will be deleted.

    • CollisionVend Statistics
    • Sales By Product Group or Line For Export
