ComCept has released 3 brand new reports and a report enhancement!

New Reports:

• Price Exceptions report - Lists all the price exceptions from invoices and credits.

• Customer Open Transactions SSRS report - Print details of customer open transactions on the fly.

• Customer Shipment Detail report - Listing of customer shipment details.

Enhancements:

• Sales Out Data Readiness report - Added a new cost comparison test

   

We successfully released new code this evening for ComCept .Net.  The following changes were made:

Require Invoice Numbers on PO Receipts

Administrators can enable the invoice number requirement on PO Receipts by navigating to Settings > Misc. and checking the box named, “Require Invoice Number on PO Receipts".  Users will be unable to finalize receipts until an invoice number is supplied.  The setting is location-specific.

Fail-over Server on Emails

When sending emails, ComCept now has a secondary mail server to use in case the primary is not responsive.  This will improve the reliability of emailed documents.

• New Inventory Menu – ComCept .Net now has a new “Inventory” menu section beneath Accounts Receivable in the menu window, identical to that of the ComCept .Net thin client.  This menu section contains all the same links as its thin-client counterpart, including Adjust Inventory.  Note: Master Inventory and Local Inventory have been moved to this new menu item group.
   
• Local Data Updater blocking – two instances of ComCept .Net will no longer conflict with one another, blocking updates.  Various other small fixes to the Updater reported by our Support team were also addressed.
   
• Email fail-over server – emails will now be sent by a back-up email server if the primary is too busy to accept a relay at that moment.  This will increase the likelihood that emails are sent to customers on behalf of our distributors.

We successfully released new code this evening for ComCept .Net.  The following changes were made:

• ComCept Mobile Inventory
  • All known issues with Picking have been addressed
  • Add new UOMs directly from the mobile device
  • Capture UPC Codes directly in the mobile device
• Major database performance tuning
• Prevent users from double-clicking Save on POS documents
• Fixed an issue with “Credit Invoice”, deleting line items from a credit that was copied from a partially shipped invoice

We have successfully completed a code release with the following changes:

• A significant patch to Mobile Inventory Picking has been released
   
• CollisionLinx Transaction Detail  report now allows users to specify an Item filter.  The CollisionLinx user must have access to the “Report_Extranet_Transaction_Detail_ItemFilter” permission.
   
• Data Maintenance – Upload Work Order – users cannot upload documents longer than 500 lines

This evening we completed a code release for ComCept.Net.  The following changes are in this release:

• Data Maintenance can now manage Inventory Bins.  Users must have the DM_BinManagement permission to use this new sheet.  The sheet will allow for mass changes to Bins, including adds, updates and deletes.  Inventory Bins now contain a Zone Name.  This 4-character field allows distributors to segment bins into different areas.  Mobile Inventory Order Picking will be the first function that allows users to filter documents by bin zones, allowing warehouse personnel to pick only from a subset of the warehouse.

• “Sales Out” Readiness report now filters items by the date specified.  This report assists distributors in determining if customers and items are suitable for export to 3M for rebates.  You can now omit items that have not been actively sold since a specified date, to cut back on the data volume.

We successfully released code changes to ComCept .Net, with the following changes: 

• Users can no longer over-ship quantities on Indirect (OEM) Work Orders.  This was requested by the suppliers who initiate these orders.
• Count Sheets now ask users to confirm deletes
• Purchasing Document Generation now has a quick link to the Item Lookup from the Document Edit page
• eBusiness Mapping page: Incoming Orders – users can see all mappings with no Supplier Filter, making it easier to locate existing mappings

ComCept has successfully completed a code release, for the following changes:

• We fixed a recent issue that prevented the addition of Miscellaneous and Freight items from being added to invoices that originated as Work Orders
• Master Inventory – We added several new fields:
  • Height
  • Width
  • Depth
  • 5 Custom fields
  • Last Modified By employee
• The Item Lookup page now displays every inventory field
• Preferences – You can set custom labels for all 5 Custom fields on the Inventory tab
• Item Listing Export report - export any data you need for inventory items, including all the new inventory fields
• Data Maintenance - all inventory-related sheets have access to all new (and old) fields

ComCept has successfully completed a code release, adding the following features:

• The Total Weight of all goods on Invoices, Credits and Packing Slips will now be displayed in the Totals section of these documents.
   
• ComCept Mobile .Net Login refresh and Offline Indicator issue were fixed
   
• Employee dropdowns now allow you to search on employee number

ComCept has successfully completed a code release, adding the following features:

Security

All point-of-sale pages have received a major overhaul in how Security Permissions are checked.  There are now more permissions you are able to deny your users, and we have de-emphasized the importance of Security Levels.  See this link for more information.

Item Lookup

You can now filter item locations by region.
